Terms and Conditions

Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email from us.

Advance Payment: An advance payment of 25% of the total booking amount is required to secure your reservation.

Check-in/Check-out: Check-in time is 12:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to additional charges.

Minimum Stay: Minimum stay requirements may apply during peak seasons and special events.

Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and digital wallets through our secure payment gateway (Razorpay).

Payment Schedule: 25% advance payment at booking, remaining 75% due at check-in.

Currency: All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR).

Price Changes: Prices are subject to change without notice. However, confirmed bookings will be honored at the quoted price.

Additional Charges: Any additional services, damages, or incidental charges will be billed separately.

Guest Cancellations:

• More than 7 days before check-in: Full refund of advance payment
• 3-7 days before check-in: 50% refund of advance payment
• Less than 3 days before check-in: No refund
• No-show: No refund

Our Cancellations: In case we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Weather Conditions: Bookings are non-refundable due to weather conditions unless we deem it unsafe for guests.

Respectful Behavior: Guests must conduct themselves respectfully towards other guests, staff, and the natural environment.

Noise Policy: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Disruptive behavior is not permitted.

Smoking & Alcohol: Smoking is prohibited in tents and common areas. Alcohol consumption is permitted in designated areas only.

Pets: Pets are not allowed unless prior arrangements have been made.

Environmental Responsibility: Guests must respect the natural environment and follow Leave No Trace principles.

Property Damage: Guests are responsible for any damage to property and will be charged accordingly.

Waterfall Access: Access to the waterfall is at your own risk. Swimming or entering the water is done at your own discretion and risk.

Outdoor Activities: All outdoor activities are undertaken at guests' own risk. We recommend appropriate clothing and footwear.

Medical Conditions: Guests with medical conditions should inform us at the time of booking.

Emergency Procedures: In case of emergency, contact our staff immediately. Emergency contact numbers are provided in each tent.

Limitation of Liability: The Secret Waterfall Retreat shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property, except in cases of gross negligence.

Insurance: We recommend guests have appropriate travel and health insurance.

Private Bonfire: Bonfire setups are weather-dependent and subject to fire safety regulations. We reserve the right to cancel if conditions are unsafe.

Additional Services: Other services may be available upon request and subject to additional charges.

Cancellation of Add-ons: Add-on services can be cancelled up to 24 hours before your stay for a full refund.

Operating Hours: Maati Café operates from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily, subject to weather conditions.

Menu & Pricing: Menu items and prices are subject to change based on availability of local ingredients.

Dietary Requirements: Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies when placing your order.

Outside Food: Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the café area.

Data Collection: We collect personal information necessary for booking and providing our services.

Data Usage: Your information is used solely for booking management, communication, and improving our services.

Data Security: We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information.

Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by the laws of India and subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Uttarakhand.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through mutual discussion. If unsuccessful, disputes will be resolved through arbitration.

Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid.

Modifications: We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website.
